Time Resembles God

God is One God, with three natures. The Creator has given us many analogies to help us understand this. Time is one of my favorites.
Time is one, yet has three natures divided into Future, Present and Past.

The Future is the source of things to come. It is hoped for. It is the Soul of Time---it's Beginning. It is the "Is To Come".

The Present is the manifestation of the Future; it's embodiment---or plainly, the Body. It is the spoken Word which executes the things which the Future tells it to execute, thereby making the Future Present. It is the answer to hope. It is the Body of Time---the Now. It is the "Is".

The Past is the Ghost of the Present---a living memory and template, readily available to any who will remember it. It is the ghost of the Present, forever sealed and unchangable---the zipped zipper. It is the "Was".
Now God:

God is one, yet has three natures divided into Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost).

The Father is the source of things to come. He is the hoped for. He is the Soul of the Godhead---the Beginning. He is the "Is To Come".

The Son is the manifestation of the Father; His embodiment---or plainly, His Body. He is the spoken Word who executes the things of His Father tells Him to execute, thereby making the Father present. He is the answer to hope. He is the Body of the Godhead---the Now. He is the "Is".

The Holy Spirit is the Ghost of the Son---a living memory and template, readily available to any who will remember Him. It is the Ghost of the Son, forever sealed and unchangeable---the zipped zipper. He is the "Was".

Time is Three and yet One---as God is three and yet one. The Son is to His Father like the Present is to the Future. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost; The future, present and past. Neat, huh?
"The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:
"Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

Revelation 4:8

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts."

Revelation 21:6
